Ian won the United States Gold Medal contest held at Kansas City, Missouri - one of America's most prestigious events. The link to the prize winning tune, "Nameless - One of the Craigich", is here:

Ian performed at the Hollywood Bowl in August with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra playing the famous piece "An Orkney Wedding at Sunrise" by Peter Maxwell Davies.
